What is a good desktop computer deal? For most sellers, a good computer deal would be one in which they made a profit and probably got an extended service contract along with it. For others, it might be one in which they made a profit and had a satisfied customers. Others might be satisfied with moving an outdated model that was a drag on their bottom line.

For a buyer, a good desktop deal would probably be a computer that did everything asked of it and was obtained at a good price.

I sold computers for a living for the better part of six years. I prided myself on finding out what the customer wanted to do with his computer and added in some expansion capability.
